![Page 5: COMENIUS 1 PROJECT Academic year 2005/2006 SHARING AND MAKING MUSIC AND DANCE PROGETTO COMENIUS 1 Anno scolastico 2005/2006](https://reader035.vdocumenti.com/reader035/viewer/2022062319/5542eb57497959361e8c1da3/html5/thumbnails/5.jpg)
La cultura e le tradizioni della “CIOCIARIA”
attraverso lo studio di costumi, canti e
danze popolari.

![Page 7: COMENIUS 1 PROJECT Academic year 2005/2006 SHARING AND MAKING MUSIC AND DANCE PROGETTO COMENIUS 1 Anno scolastico 2005/2006](https://reader035.vdocumenti.com/reader035/viewer/2022062319/5542eb57497959361e8c1da3/html5/thumbnails/7.jpg)
![Page 8: COMENIUS 1 PROJECT Academic year 2005/2006 SHARING AND MAKING MUSIC AND DANCE PROGETTO COMENIUS 1 Anno scolastico 2005/2006](https://reader035.vdocumenti.com/reader035/viewer/2022062319/5542eb57497959361e8c1da3/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)
![Page 9: COMENIUS 1 PROJECT Academic year 2005/2006 SHARING AND MAKING MUSIC AND DANCE PROGETTO COMENIUS 1 Anno scolastico 2005/2006](https://reader035.vdocumenti.com/reader035/viewer/2022062319/5542eb57497959361e8c1da3/html5/thumbnails/9.jpg)
MUSICA E FOLKLORE IN CIOCIARIA
![Page 10: COMENIUS 1 PROJECT Academic year 2005/2006 SHARING AND MAKING MUSIC AND DANCE PROGETTO COMENIUS 1 Anno scolastico 2005/2006](https://reader035.vdocumenti.com/reader035/viewer/2022062319/5542eb57497959361e8c1da3/html5/thumbnails/10.jpg)
STRUMENTI MUSICALI CIOCIARI
![Page 11: COMENIUS 1 PROJECT Academic year 2005/2006 SHARING AND MAKING MUSIC AND DANCE PROGETTO COMENIUS 1 Anno scolastico 2005/2006](https://reader035.vdocumenti.com/reader035/viewer/2022062319/5542eb57497959361e8c1da3/html5/thumbnails/11.jpg)

![Page 12: COMENIUS 1 PROJECT Academic year 2005/2006 SHARING AND MAKING MUSIC AND DANCE PROGETTO COMENIUS 1 Anno scolastico 2005/2006](https://reader035.vdocumenti.com/reader035/viewer/2022062319/5542eb57497959361e8c1da3/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
![Page 13: COMENIUS 1 PROJECT Academic year 2005/2006 SHARING AND MAKING MUSIC AND DANCE PROGETTO COMENIUS 1 Anno scolastico 2005/2006](https://reader035.vdocumenti.com/reader035/viewer/2022062319/5542eb57497959361e8c1da3/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)

il salterello;
la quadriglia;
la danza dei nastri;
la danza delle mazze;
la tarantella.
![Page 15: COMENIUS 1 PROJECT Academic year 2005/2006 SHARING AND MAKING MUSIC AND DANCE PROGETTO COMENIUS 1 Anno scolastico 2005/2006](https://reader035.vdocumenti.com/reader035/viewer/2022062319/5542eb57497959361e8c1da3/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
![Page 16: COMENIUS 1 PROJECT Academic year 2005/2006 SHARING AND MAKING MUSIC AND DANCE PROGETTO COMENIUS 1 Anno scolastico 2005/2006](https://reader035.vdocumenti.com/reader035/viewer/2022062319/5542eb57497959361e8c1da3/html5/thumbnails/16.jpg)
![Page 17: COMENIUS 1 PROJECT Academic year 2005/2006 SHARING AND MAKING MUSIC AND DANCE PROGETTO COMENIUS 1 Anno scolastico 2005/2006](https://reader035.vdocumenti.com/reader035/viewer/2022062319/5542eb57497959361e8c1da3/html5/thumbnails/17.jpg)

INNO EUROPEO
Salve, figlia della Grecia
e dell’alma Roma onor,
che ci riunisti all’ombra
delle cattedrali d’or;
poi, donato al mondo un raggio
di sapienza e di beltà,
ci chiamasti alla Bastiglia
per la santa Libertà;
ora, alfine affratellati
senza più tra noi confin,
Patria nostra antica e nuova,
Tu ci additi un sol destin.
Salve, Europa!
Sia l’insegna
della nostra civiltà
la difesa dei valori
dell’umana dignità.
Dalla nordica scogliera
fino all’isole del sol,
sulle vette immacolate,
per i vasti piani in fior,
sventoli la tua bandiera
azzurra con le stelle d’or,
e il tuo nome ovunque, Europa,
sia di pace annunciator.
SPARTITO

Tendimi la mano
e insieme troverem la via,
alza gli occhi al cielo
e dalle stelle vedrai la scia.
Sali sulla Torre Eiffel
e guarda l’orizzonte

THE “SALTARELLO”
The “saltarello” derives from the Latin word “saltatus”. It’s a quick skipped movement, danced in couples or in groups. The dancers form a circle holding their partners arms tightly on each other’s shoulders, while bending forward..
THE “QUADRIGLIA”
The “quadriglia” is a lively dance that dates back to the period of the Renaissance.

THE “DANZA DEI NASTRI”
The “danza dei nastri” is the most technical of the dances. Dancers move in circles intertwining multicoloured ribbons so as to form a star.
THE “DANZA DELLE MAZZE”
The dancers use sticks to form circular patterns-assimilation of farmers threshing wheat and collecting firewood.

THE “BALLARELLA”
This is the most typical dance in our region.
THE “ TARANTELLA”
This too is a lively dance inspired by a Neapolitan one since our region borders with Campania, where Naples is located.

EUROPEAN ANTHEM
Salve, figlia della Grecia
e dell’alma Roma onor,
che ci riunisti all’ombra
delle cattedrali d’or;
poi, donato al mondo un raggio
di sapienza e di beltà,
ci chiamasti alla Bastiglia
per la santa Libertà;
ora, alfine affratellati
senza più tra noi confin,
Patria nostra antica e nuova,
Tu ci additi un sol destin.
Salve, Europa!
Sia l’insegna
della nostra civiltà
la difesa dei valori
dell’umana dignità.
Dalla nordica scogliera
fino all’isole del sol,
sulle vette immacolate,
per i vasti piani in fior,
sventoli la tua bandiera
azzurra con le stelle d’or,
e il tuo nome ovunque, Europa,
sia di pace annunciator.

EUROPEAN ANTHEM: LYRICS BY YEAR 5B PUPILS
Dear friends, we are here together
under the blue sky with golden stars
with our heart we are united
in peace and in love.
Through dance and song
we’ll get to know each other better
and we will discover our differences
but we will find common values.
Saltarello, waltz, polca
altogether we will dance them
and our voices will sing
the most beautiful songs of each country.
So many languages and and so many believes,
so many differences are the wealth of Europe.
The exchange will come then..
To our Europe
we dedicate our heart
to our Europe
as symbol of peace, respect and love.
Through dance and song
we’ll get know each other better
and we will discover our differences
but we will find common values.

EUROPEAN ANTHEM: LYRICS BY YEAR 5A PUPILS
Hold out your hand to me
and together we will find the way,
look up to the sky,
and you will see the stars’ wake.
Go up to the Eiffel Tower
and look at the Horizon
from the Loire to the Rhine
we will build a long bridge.
With a great waltz
we will start a dance
from the Alps to the Pyrenees
Europe will advance.
Hand in hand
we will play “ring-a-ring o’roses”
from Saint Peter’s to the Parthenon
to unite the World.
And step by step
we will go towards the future
from the mills to the fiords
we will Knock down every wall.
May our ancient history
be an example for us
and may it be a sign of our commitment
for a friendly Europe.
